Driven by a desire to expand its CSR support actions through contributions to national security policies, Ubitech Constructii backed the organization of the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum in May 2023.

Reaching its seventh edition, the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum took place on May 18-19, 2023, organized by New Strategy Center in partnership with the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defense of Romania, and NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division. The reconstruction of Ukraine, security issues in the Black Sea region, and the identification of new energy sources in the current international context were among the topics discussed at the event.

On the first day of the event, Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Ubitech Constructii, delivered a speech on the reconstruction of Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of creating more working groups so that construction companies in Romania can better understand how they can contribute to the reconstruction of the neighboring country. In this context, Cătălin Podaru pointed out that there are already countries involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine.

“Participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine, especially as a neighbor, with such a large border, I believe it is a moral imperative, but I also believe it is a pragmatic approach, because we want this country to revive, adhere to European values and be a partner in this common front,” said Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Ubitech Constructii.

Ubitech Constructii supported the organization of this event as a Gold Partner and will continue to promote other initiatives in the field of national security.
