Bauma 2022 opens new perspectives for the digitalization of construction sites for Ubitech Construcții5 min. de citit
Bauma 2022, the world’s leading trade fair for construction vehicles, construction equipment and mining machinery, took place in Munich from October 24 to 28, 2022.
This year’s edition showcased the latest trends: digitalization and sustainability. Over the course of 5 days, the exhibition focused on the following themes: construction methods and materials of the future, the path to autonomous machinery, mining as a sustainable, efficient, and reliable activity, the digitalization of construction sites, and the path to zero emissions.
Impressive in size, with a diverse range of exhibitors and numerous machinery with exceptional production capabilities, Bauma 2022 provided a suitable framework for presenting solutions tailored to the current needs of visitors. The well-organized event allowed a large number of people to analyze the exhibited construction machinery and materials, and the intuitive layout of the spaces based on functionalities facilitated interactions between visitors and exhibitors.
As one of the most technologically advanced construction companies in Romania, providing intelligent and sustainable solutions in the projects they develop, Ubitech Construcții was represented at this event by Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Ubitech Construcții, and Adrian Grigore, Deputy General Manager of Ubitech Construcții, who closely followed the new technologies in the construction industry.
“We have noticed a multitude of solutions for the digitalization of construction sites, where equipment and machinery were integrated into collaborative management and monitoring systems. With the scanning of construction sites using drones and robots, all project data can be tracked during the execution phases, thus creating a Digital Twin of the construction sites. All of this facilitates effective planning and resource management, contributing to increased productivity and project quality,” said Cătălin Podaru, CEO of Ubitech Construcții.
Sustainability and carbon footprint reduction were omnipresent elements in the innovations presented by exhibitors, demonstrating a genuine concern for developing electric machinery and minimizing the impact on the environment as much as possible.
Innovation was also present at this fair in terms of the use of new technologies for machinery automation. Bauma 2022 emphasized both large-scale machinery coordinated through GPS, which could be monitored on collaborative platforms, and small-scale machinery guided by remote control, which could be easily used in confined spaces, thus increasing efficiency.
“It is evident that the increasing presence of robots and GPS technologies in the construction industry can contribute to the smooth and rapid execution of precise and complex tasks during the construction process. On the other hand, the modern solutions presented at the Bauma fair could compensate for the lack of workforce, ensuring a high level of quality in construction projects,” added Adrian Grigore, Deputy General Manager of Ubitech Construcții.
Ubitech Construcții will continue to keep pace with the latest technologies in the construction industry, aiming to achieve sustainable construction and provide the most suitable solutions in the projects they develop.
