Following the success of the UBIHealthy Buildings sustainability initiative in 2023, Ubitech Constructions launched the second edition of the campaign in January 2024, which will bring sustainable and socially responsible actions to the fore throughout the year.
The first year of the campaign highlighted the profound impact that actions of this kind can have. From getting involved in greening and tree-planting actions to supporting humanitarian campaigns, each individual healthy habit has made a huge difference in the effort to create a better and more sustainable future. The second edition of the campaign will feature new strategies aimed at raising environmental and social awareness. In this way, the campaign will continue to promote the importance of sustainable practices in everyday life, reflecting Ubitech Constructions’ commitment to creating a sustainable future in Romania.
All these actions not only have a significant impact in improving the quality of life, but also ensure a sustainable development of the society we live in.

UBI Healthy Building Ambassadors
The Healthy UBIceans campaign now has four ambassadors, after colleagues Daniel, Radu and Alin joined Iulian Nedelcu in actively supporting behaviours that have a positive impact on health.
Promoters of a balanced lifestyle, our campaign ambassadors are living proof that passion and commitment to health know no bounds. Even if they only do sport in their spare time, the results they have achieved in various competitions are truly commendable.
On this occasion, we invited all our online followers to be inspired by the example of our ambassadors and to adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle to build a stronger, healthier and happier community together.
Ubitech Team, with Act for Tomorrow
At the end of March, 20 members of our team joined Act for Tomorrow’s initiative to plant trees in the Vânătorii Mici Commune in Giurgiu County.
We joined forces to lay the foundations of a new forest and in this way contributed to creating a greener and more hopeful future.
Our collective effort highlights the power of unity and joint action in the face of global challenges, and the importance of sustainable practices in combating climate change.
Runway Run
Our colleagues ran on April 7 at RUNWAY RUN – 86th Air Base Walk, Run and Fly with you! – a sporting event organised to mark 20 years of Air Police service under NATO command.
It was a truly unique experience, but also a perfect opportunity for our colleagues to showcase their passion for an active and healthy lifestyle.
Happy to have taken part in this event, our colleagues are looking forward to the next challenge!
Băneasa Forest Run
Iulian, Radu, Alin and Daniel, ambassadors of the Healthy Habits campaign, took part in the 2024 edition of the Băneasa Forest Run, where they achieved very good results in the Cross Country event.
Out of a total of 1043 participants, Iulian Nedelcu came 1st in his age category and 3rd overall after completing the 11 km race in 41 minutes and 19 seconds.
Alin also placed 22nd in his age category, Daniel placed 92nd and Radu crossed the finish line in 116th place.
On this occasion, we congratulated our ambassadors and wished them the best of luck for the next competitions.
Bucharest Half Marathon
Eight of our colleagues enthusiastically ran in the 13th edition of the Bucharest Half Marathon, reaffirming their passion for an active and healthy lifestyle.
Once they crossed the finish line, our colleagues felt a massive joy for surpassing their limits and reaching their goals.
On this occasion, we congratulated our colleagues for their energy and determination and could not hide our eagerness to see them in action in the next competitions.
Alin, Healthy Habits campaign ambassador
As part of our efforts to bring promoters of a healthy lifestyle to the forefront, we introduced Alin, our colleague from the MEP Engineering Office to our online community. Alin has been competing in mountain running and mountain biking competitions for over 7 years but is also passionate about other sports, such as snowboarding and table tennis.
Our colleague has participated in the Carpathia Trail, Transylvania 100, Făgăraș Rocks, and Piatra Craiului Marathon, among the most important competitions.
Alin told us that each competition brings him immense satisfaction, and he appreciates that perseverance and dedication are essential to achieving personal goals.
Finally, we invited our online friends to be inspired by Alin’s energy and passion for sport and to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle, which can bring them many benefits.
Daniel, ambassador of the Healthy Habits campaign
Recently, we were delighted to introduce our online community to Daniel. Our colleague became this year’s Healthy Habits campaign ambassador thanks to the perseverance and motivation he has been training with since 2018 to achieve excellent performances in every marathon he participates in.
Michael Schumacher, the legendary racing driver, inspires Daniel in his development as an athlete through his determination to push his limits and desire to always be among the best.
Bucharest Marathon, L’etape By Tour De France, and Băneasa Forest Run are just a few sports competitions our colleague has participated in. Daniel also likes snowboarding and playing soccer with friends.
Finally, we have told our online friends that Daniel strives to excel and improve himself in every competition, which makes us happy to have him as an ambassador of the Healthy Habits campaign.
Radu, ambassador of Healthy Habits campaign
We were delighted to share with our online community the achievements of Radu, our colleague in the Settlement Department, who has participated in several sports competitions over the last ten years.
Although he only practices sports in his free time, Radu has expressed his desire to push his limits and achieve extraordinary performances, inspired by the renowned athlete Jan Frodeno, a three-time Olympic triathlon champion.
We also encouraged our online followers to be inspired by Radu’s passion for sport and active lifestyle. We are proud to continue to support him as an ambassador of the #HealthyHabits campaign!
Iulian Nedelcu, ambassador of the Healthy Habits campaign
We were happy to share with our online community the outstanding performance of our colleague Iulian, who won 1st place in his age category in the Subcarpathian Trail Run competition last month.
Iulian shows us that we can achieve any goal through perseverance and discipline, regardless of the challenges we encounter along the way.
On this occasion, we congratulated our colleague on successfully combining his professional responsibilities with his rigorous training and passion for sport. He is a true role model for us and for our online friends.
Environmental cleanup action | Ubitech Team @Delta Văcărești
On June 21st, several team members participated in an environmental cleanup action at the Văcărești Natural Park, an event organized in partnership with the Park Administration.
Together, we cleaned up a part of this unique ecosystem, home to more than 90 rare species of birds and animals, such as foxes, rabbits, and otters.
We have mobilized to protect the natural environment, convinced that our efforts underline the power of collaboration and the importance of adopting sustainable practices to tackle our community’s environmental challenges.
Training program with the Healthy Habits Ambassadors

Iulian Nedelcu inspired our colleagues, Alin, Radu, and Daniel, and gave them valuable advice so that they could reach their full potential with every training session they participated in.

Fotbal Club Câmpia Turzii, supported by Ubitech Construcții
At the end of July, we were delighted to share with our online friends the news of our company’s support for FC Câmpia Turzii sports club by offering a Mercedes-Benz minivan, which will be used to take children and junior groups to soccer matches and training sessions.
We were proud to be able to do our bit to support the local community, believing that healthy habits are formed in childhood. On this occasion, we wish the teams from Fotbal Club Câmpia Turzii all the best.
The “Dimitrie Cantemir” National Military College Breaza football team, sponsored by Ubitech Construcții
Recently, we were pleased to announce the support our company offered to the “Dimitrie Cantemir” National Military College Breaza football team. A few years ago, the team played several matches in the gym built by our company in Breaza.
This way, we could share with all those who follow our social media pages the joy of seeing how one of our projects is appreciated and used to its full capacity and the positive impact it has brought to the community.
The “Dimitrie Cantemir” National Military College Breaza football team achieved 2nd place in the National School Sports Olympiad and 3rd place in the High School Military Sports Olympiad in 2024 after placing 1st in the qualifying groups of both competitions.
Finally, we wish the players of the “Dimitrie Cantemir” National Military College Breaza football team every success in the following competitions.

We were pleasantly impressed by the more than 4,000 comments entered in the Benefits of Travel contest, which Ubitech Construții organized on Facebook and Instagram.
Raluca, Mirela, and Cristina told us where they would like to travel in the next period, winning a 500 lei voucher at Decathlon. Raluca dreams of exploring the beautiful city of Sibiu; Mirela wants to walk through the historic streets of Brasov, and Cristina chooses to visit the fascinating city of Budapest.

Remarkable results obtained by Iulian Nedelcu, ambassador of the Healthy Habits campaign
Following the outstanding results achieved by Iulian Nedelcu, Healthy Habits campaign ambassador, who participated in several running races in September, we were happy to share his achievements with our online friends.
At the Balkan Masters Athletics Championship, which took place in the city of Bar in Montenegro, Iulian won 1st place in the 5000m race in the M45 category after finishing the race in 17 minutes and 38 seconds.
He also won 1st place in the 5000m and 1500m in the M45 category at the National Masters Outdoor Championships. At the Vrancea Montană Run, Iulian participated in the Cross-Country event and obtained 2nd place in his age category and 3rd place overall.
Iulian’s performances and his passion for a healthy lifestyle inspire us. We are convinced that anyone can achieve great goals through discipline and dedication.
The joy of giving
Christmas has a unique charm when it is lived through generosity, and our team once again showed how beautiful this time of year can be.
So, our colleagues became Santa’s elves to fulfill the wishes of the children from HOSPICE Casa Speranței, who were looking forward to the Christmas party.
After enthusiastically wrapping the presents, our colleagues were delighted to help decorate the party room, so the children had an unforgettable experience.
